Windows Vista™
Activation
For
issues regarding activation of your new Windows Vista
computer, please turn on your StepNote computer and
complete the following procedure:
STEP 1 Download
the activation file by clicking the right button of
your mouse/touchpad on the file Activation.exe
(72KB). Choose "save target as" from the drop-down
menu then click the "Browse Folders" button.
STEP 2
Click
"Desktop", then click the "save"
button
STEP 3
Double click the "Activation" icon on your
desktop, then click the "run" button.
STEP 4
After the Winzip Self-Extractor opens, click the "Unzip"
option
STEP 5
Verify that 3 files unzip successfully, then click "OK"
STEP 6 Click
the Windows
button in the bottom, left, corner of your desktop screen
and type in "C:\everex\update\activation\slp20.exe",
then press the "enter" key on your keyboard
STEP
7 Your
Windows should now be properly activated. Reboot (restart)
your computer to finalize the process
STEP
8 You
can verify the status of your computer by clicking
the Windows
button in the bottom, left, corner of your desktop screen,
then clicking "Control Panel", "System
and Maintenance", then "System" If
your Windows does not activate properly, contact an
