Q: The DVD Sound Volume seems to low.
A: Factory settings incorporate Dolby Digital sound during DVD playback. To modify these settings and increase the overall DVD sound volume, configure the PowerDVD software*:

* If Windows Media Player is used for DVD playback, configuration instructions are available here

1. Open PowerDVD by clicking the PowerDVD icon


 


2. Click the "configuration" button on the PowerDVD console (bottom right)



 

3. Click the "audio" tab
4. Verify the Speaker Environment is set to "2 Speaker" and Output Mode is set to "Stereo". If not, Click the pull down menu to change.
5. Click the "advanced" button



 


6. In the "miscellaneous" tab Click the "Noisy Environment" button
7. Click the "OK" button


 

8. Click the "OK" button again
9. Volume change should be immediate
